Peter DuMans is a Winnipeg artist who learned to express himself visually from an early age. He began working in metal in high school and went on to take a number of off-campus courses to augment his passion for creating with metal.

The world around him is his inspiration. He uses the welding torch much as a paint brush when creating his art. Peter predominately creates in copper, brass, stainless steel and chrome.His sculptural forms as well as his multi media works on canvas sometimes includes clay and wood.
