Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba,
Kathleen Crosby fulfilled a lifelong desire when she began to paint professionally in
2007. Inspired by music, nature, and
colour, Kathleen has a deep need for harmony and strives to incorporate this into
her work.
She is influenced by many great artists including Vincent Van Gogh, The Group of Seven, Picasso, Emily Carr and William Winter. Kathleen continually researches, studies, and experiments at producing work that is complex and mysterious, while simultaneously emitting a sense of simplicity, beauty, and joy. She also devotes time to teaching workshops to young aspiring artists.
